The Hackettstown Historical Society welcomes the participation of all volunteers interested in the history of Hackettstown, its ancestral families and the surrounding areas. Thanks to the generous assistance of our dedicated Board of Trustees, tireless officers and these volunteers, the Hackettstown Historical Society continues to maintain and expand our programs and collections.The Society encourages volunteer opportunities to help broaden its mission and elevate education about Hackettstown and it's significance to the history of the Musconectong Valley region. Whatever your interests, you will find an opportunity to learn and contribute in an organization that invites your active involvement. |

The Hackettstown Museum The Hackettstown Historical Society Museum is located at 106 Church Street, Hackettstown, NJ. The building was originally built in 1915 for the Theodore G. Plate family.
The museum is open on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00-2:00pm; Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-4:00pm and Sundays from 2:00-4:00pm. It is closed on holidays.
Special groups and other times may be accommodated by appointment. The museum and its collections are maintained by a group of dedicated volunteers. Send an email or call 908.852.8797 for more information on the Museum, its collections or volunteer opportunities. |

| The Society meets on the first Thursday of the month and are held in the Front Parlor of historic Seay Hall at Centenary College, unless otherwise posted. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm. Check this website or call the Museum at 908.852.8797 for additional information. |
